In class, we discussed the mechanical aspects of our project with Ms. Selan. We worked on how to design our car, specifically with respect to the brushless motor, the drive shaft, and the differential. We started the preliminary considerations for our car chassis design, taking measurements and thinking about how we wanted our car to look visually. Further, in the pictures below is our work with Ms. Selan regarding the L293d chip and how to design the drive shaft and differential.

For next class, we hope to make serious headway on our car chassis design as well as our code for the motor.

Lastly, we tried to get the solder ink to work for the Voltera Punk Console, but considering timing, we have decided to pause on that and focus on the mechanical design.

Sounds like a smart call to focus on mechanical design first. Are you planning to revisit the Voltera work later or use another method for that part?

We are planning to use the Voltera to print our circuit board.

It is a motor controller chip I believe.

This is interesting! My group would need to use the L293D chip as well! Can I ask about the L293D chip later?
