Before class today, we worked on our circuit boards. Using the mapped outline of our circuit board that we made last class, we transferred the parts from our breadboard onto the circuit board, which we also made ready for soldering. Before class and in class today, we spent time soldering the circuit boards. The two circuit boards are for our car chassis with the RF Receiver and for the controller with our RF Transmitter and joysticks for speed and direction. We finished these circuit boards (pictured below) and only need to upload the code on the Arduino chips.
Additionally, our resin finally arrived so we were able to start printing out our axles on the resin printer in GCAD. We also spent time after class working on these prints with resin with Ms. Selan. Considering the time crunch ahead, we are working very quickly to make sure our car will be finished in time. At the moment, our electrical work is almost complete - we need to connect the joysticks and upload the code. We need to work on our mechanical components for our car and chassis, which we have made headway on.

How do you plan to test the joysticks and RF communication once the code is uploaded to the Arduino? Just in-field?
That looks great, you guys are making a ton of progress! Why do you need separate circuits for the RF transmitter and RF receiver?
